September 16: World Ozone Day 2021
On 1994 September 16 the United Nations General Assembly passed a resolution as World Ozone Day/ International Day for the Preservation of the Ozone Layer.
World Ozone Day is celebrated for global awareness to focus on preserving the Ozone layer and protecting the earth from global issues like global warming and climate issues. Our Ozone layer is made of O3 a compound is formed when 3 oxygen atom is combined, which helps the earth by protecting as a shield from UV rays, X-rays and invisible rays, for preserving life on earth.
