Each year, Eid-e-Milad or Milad-un-Nabi is celebrated as the birth anniversary of Prophet Mohammad. It was believed Prophet Mohammad was born in Mecca on the 12^th day, the 3rd month of Rabee-ul-Awwal in the Islamic calendar, to Abdullah and Bibi Amina. Some Twelver Shia Muslims consider that Prophet was born on 17th Rabi’ al-awwal. This day is also honour as the death anniversary of the Prophet.
